One of my favorite things to do is personalize baby shower invitations for the baby that is on the way. Give me a copy of the shower invite and I'll put it on cavas. When the new addition arrives, the "vital information" can be added. I add ribbons on eye screws so that the canvas can be hung on the hospital door as an announcement to guests & later, at home, on the door to the nursery. These make a great hostess gifts and can add a special touch to shower decor!
The verse above and below reads, "So, she became his wife, and he loved her . . .Genesis 24:67" (it's painted in a metallic paint, which makes it subtle, but also makes it hard to photograph!)

The pea pod reads:
"Two peas in a pod, two bundles of joy, two gifts from Heaven, two sweet baby boys"
The baby carriage in this one was personalized with an "R" for the baby's last name.
Here the baby's name and monogram were added to elements of the invitation's original design.
